On October 31, 1926, Halloween night, Harry Houdini, the greatest escape artist the world has ever known, passed away. No lock, handcuff, crate or chain could hold him. In the end, only his own body could.
Today, exactly 100 years later, I opened my archive and found this poster.

December 13, 1983, Tel Aviv. A young Cagliostro, chained in iron and hanging upside down in a tank of 1,000 liters of water, challenges the very feat Houdini turned into legend: the Chinese Water Torture Cell.
A little secret: it was actually my army discharge party, after serving as the world’s first Chief Military Magician. But that’s another story…
Houdini taught us that the real escape isn’t from the locks. It’s from the limits we place on ourselves.
Thank you, Master. The magic goes on. 🗝️
